Meet the Team
Salvia Zeeshan
Public Health Specialist
Dr. Salvia Zeeshan is a Medical Doctor (MD) and public health specialist. She has experience working in health policy development, quantitative and qualitative research, and development, implementation and evaluation of innovative health solutions. She is currently providing support as a consultant to projects in global health, specifically in vaccine hesitancy (India) and improving access to health (Uganda). She completed her Master in Public Health (MPH) and Postdoctoral Research Fellowship (Population, Family & Reproductive Health) from Johns Hopkins University, USA.
Kabira Namit
Education Economist
Kabira is interested in improving learning outcomes for children in fragile and conflict – affected regions of the world, school health and nutrition programs, combatting gender-based violence and supporting children who are dealing with addiction. Kabira has worked on impact evaluations, learning assessments and improving the quality of education statistics in twenty-six countries of Sub-Saharan Africa, the Pacific, and the Middle East. Kabira holds a Masters in Economics and Public Policy from Princeton University where he was a recipient of the Stokes’ Prize for exemplary academic achievement and public service leadership, a Masters in Development Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies at London University where he graduated with distinction and an undergraduate degree in Economics and Statistics from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.
Prabhmeet Kaur
Lead Research Associate
Prabhmeet Kaur Matta is interested in macroeconomics, data science, and econometrics. Her technical work focuses on design and implementation of household and high-frequency surveys for fragile and post-conflict countries. An avid programmer, Prabhmeet is also passionate about learning languages. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science and holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.
Zaeen de Souza
Senior Research Associate
Zaeen is interested in labour economics and applied econometrics. His research looks at the effects of attending public preschools on child development and academic achievement. Recently, he has also been working with co-authors to study the role of individual social capital and networks in accessing credit during times of distress. Prior to joining Frontline Impact, Zaeen was an Associate at Seva Mandir, India where he worked on monitoring, evaluation & learning. He has a graduate degree in economics from Azim Premji University, India.
